Wilhelmina (“Willie” & “Mina”) Tinge
Age 82 years young of Auburn and Troy Township.
passed away unexpectedly
but peacefully on August 16, 2021
Mina was born June, 1939 in Cleveland Oh.
to parents Harry and Hazel Tinge, Auburn Township. (preceding her in death)
Mina is sister to the late Rolf Tinge and Virginia Roney.

Mina was the beloved and adored Mother,
of the late Cheryl Portman-Erker (preceded her in death), son Phillip Portman
and daughter Kimberly Portman Mishne (E Sean Mishne)
Mina has 3 grandchildren that she loved dearly and was a big part of their lives,
McKenzie, Jared and Kendall Portman
and 2 great grandchildren she adored and loved so much, Jace and Nicolina .
Mina graduated from Kenston high school in 1957. Living most of her life in Auburn Township on Munn rd. Mina grew up loving farm life, animals and horses. Most friends have a wonderful memory of “willie” riding her pet cow around the farm yard ! She rode Appaloosas and was a 4H Advisor for Geauga County. Mina was a member of the Geauga County Sheriff's horse posse.
She loved her dogs and cats, Orchids and outdoor birds.
Mina worked Sales and Marketing at many venues in the area through her career,
Aurora Sheraton, The Treadway, Hunters Hollow, Hillbrook, Hollenden House and most recently people knew her in the deli and cheese dept at Giant Eagle for 10 years.
Mina was a beautiful soul.. Mina was a beautiful, independent lady.
I truly cannot put into words in a few paragraphs
the depth of kindness, warmth and beauty my mother had.
Mina had true friendships that have lasted over 75 years. She was known by her close friends as a wonderful person and dear, dear friend.
“Willie” “Mina” “Mom” “Grandma” “GiGi” will be truly missed beyond words, but her loving memory
and Beauty will stay with us forever.
“Yea, though I walk through death's dark vale,
Yet will I fear no ill,
For thou art with me, and thy rod and staff my comfort still”

The family will have a private celebration of life
and service with close friends and family at a later date.
