Timothy M. Sukel

Timothy M. Sukel, age 61, died on May 3, 2017.  Tim was born in New Kensington, PA, attended and graduated from Fox Chapel High School, The Pennsylvania State University and Case Western Reserve University Law School.  Tim also honorably served six years in the Air Force prior to college and law school.  Tim spent many happy years in various roles as an attorney with Progressive Insurance Company.  Tim’s sons Kelsey, Zachary, Griffin and Spencer and his former wife Christy Hovis Sukel will miss his eccentric sense of humor and boundless love for them.  Tim is also survived by sisters Lynn (Ed) Jaskowak, Lorrie (Gary) Buscek, sister-in-law Laurel Sukel and their families.  Tim’s many good friends brought joy and fun to his life in recent years.  Tim’s constant companion, Scrappy, will miss their late-night snacks.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents, George and Wanda Sukel and his brother Terry Sukel.  A memorial service will be held at a date later in May.  Arrangements by Stroud Lawrence Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations to The Pennsylvania State University in Tim’s memory are suggested.  www.stroudlawrence.com
