Thomas Stuart Hebebrand

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas Stuart Hebebrand, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, partner, and friend, on April 2, 2025, at the age of 79.

Tom was a devoted husband to his first love, Linda, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. Throughout his life, Tom demonstrated unwavering commitment to service, family, and a wide array of passions.

Born in Bedford Heights, Ohio, on September 12, 1945, Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he exemplified an outstanding sense of duty. His time in the military shaped him into the hardworking and honorable man that his loved ones cherished. Some of Tom’s passions included spending time with family and friends, golfing, fishing, and showcasing his 1963 Bonneville at car shows. Later in life, Tom started a new chapter in The Villages, Florida, where he experienced another chance at love with Susan Sacco.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; his brothers, Alan and David Hebebrand; and his sister, Elaine Oliboni. He is survived by his sons, Scott (Elizabeth) Hebebrand and Todd Hebebrand; his grandchildren, Mac and Sydney Hebebrand; his brothers, John (Maggie) and Paul Hebebrand; his sister, Donna (Harry) Heun; his fiancée, Susan Sacco, and her children, Michelle (Paul) Bongiorno, Danielle (Rich) Quayle, and Darren Haggerty; Sue’s grandchildren, Lindsey and Ryan Bongiorno, Aidan and Dylan Quayle, and Tegan, Tanner, and Easton Haggerty; as well as many other dearly loved family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th, from 5-7 PM at Steinbauer Funeral Home 33375 Bainbridge Rd. Solon, OH 44139. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, on Monday, April 14th, at the Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH. A luncheon will follow at 12:00 PM, and a graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM at Aurora Cemetery. A memorial service to be held in the Villages at a later date.
