Tatjana (Trifonow) Sindely

Tatjana Sindely age 78 of Chagrin Falls passed away peacefully July 24, 2024 in hospice (Sanctuary Care at Ohman Family Living at Holly Hill) in Newbury, Ohio.

            Tania was born April 16, 1946 in Landshut West Germany to Nicholas and Luba Trifonow. They lived in Belgium for 5 years and Montreal Quebec Canada for 17 years. Tania received a BA in language and literature in 1967 from the University of Montreal.

            The family moved to the United States (Mayfield Heights, Ohio) in 1968. Tania’s only sibling Vadim Trifonow 18 drowned in the St. Lawrence River in Montreal in 1955 with his buddies. Tania went to CWRU in Cleveland and received her MA in language and literature.

            Tania then went to Southern Illinois University in 1970 where she married Rx McGrew and daughter Rexanne was born in 1975. The marriage was short-lived and Tania and Rexanne returned to Ohio and her parents.

            Nicholas wrote music for the Church Choir and Luba worked in Histology at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Luba loved to sew and made outfits for Rexanne and Tania. Tania trained in Histology and worked in Histology until retiring in 2011. Tania Met Stephen while he was the Histology Supervisor and Hired her in 1980. Tania and Stephen married on June 15, 1984 and made 40 years this past June.

            Tania Loved to read, Physical and spirited health, Judeo/Christian, cooking, travelling, and music. Tania and Stephen have travelled to 46 US States and Canada.

            Their daughter Rexanne (Chatterton) has been in Nursing from CWRU in Cleveland. Rexanne and her children Ian (18)  and Keiri (Victoria) (12) moved to Plattsburg, New York seven years ago and came to see Tania this past June with Roxanne’s friend Mike. Tania thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Rest in Peace Tanusha, Forever in Our Hearts. Private family Services were held.
