Susan K. (Sauer) Karpinen

SUSAN K. KARPINEN (nee Sauer), age 77, passed away on October 21, 2015. She is survived by Jack Karpinen, her devoted husband of 50 years. Loving mother to Rick (Lisa) Wolf, Jeff Wolf, and Tracey (Scott) Gardner. Sister to Beth (Manfred) Wernhart and James (Clare) Sauer. Grandmother to Megan Wolf, Chelsea Wolf, Tommy Wolf, Alyssa Gardner, and Hoyt Gardner. Since 2005, Susan resided in Chagrin Falls, Ohio preceded by ten years in Surprise, Arizona. Born December 17, 1937 to Edward and Gertrude Sauer in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and proudly attended Our Redeemer Lutheran School and Church, as well as Milwaukee Lutheran High School. She was an active volunteer at church and her children’s schools, and also a member of the Sheraton Lawns Garden Club. Visitation Monday 12:00 – 2:00 at Stroud-Lawrence, 95 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls. Funeral service immediately following.
