Ronnie Richard Golden

Ronnie Richard Golden, age 74, passed away August 13, 2022. 

Ronnie was born on April 22, 1948, in Ypsilanti, MI to parents Junior and Alice Golden (deceased.)  He was preceded in death by brother Robert Golden and sister Joyce Patrick.  Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Mary Linda Golden, nee Curran, his children Veronica Golden, Melanie Houlahan (Kevin), Ross Golden (Catharine) and his 7 grandchildren whom he adored, beloved brother of Debra Pak (Nick), Lesia Schreckenghost, Regina Bivens (Mitch), and Renee Golden.

Ronnie worked as a railroad engineer for Conrail and CSX, retiring in 2010 after 40 years of service.  He had a smile and story for everyone he met. He loved his family and friends and will be sorely missed. 

The family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2022, from 4-7 PM at the Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home 33375 Bainbridge Road, Solon, Ohio. An open house to celebrate Ronnie’s life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 12-3 PM at Adam Hall (Auburn Twp.)  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Red Tulip Project (redtulipproject.com or PO Box 322 East Claridon, OH 22033.)
