Richard Weeks Jr., of University Heights, age 67 Passed away September 24, 2023

Loving son of the late Mary Alice and Richard Weeks Sr., Eldest brother to William (Jeanne), Timothy (Deidre),

Thomas, Margaret Edmunds (Andrew), Pamela Newton (Richard), Patrica Darby (Scott), Mary Nishizaki (Kurt), James, and Ann.

Beloved uncle to 21 nieces and nephews. His love for them was evident in his smile at family gatherings.

Rick's occupation as an electrical engineer exposed him to unique and interesting people from different cultures on the other side of the globe.

Rick's passion was evident in the stories he told. He was proud of his Irish heritage. Rick loved music and played guitar. He spoke of old concerts, including Peter Gabriel era Genesis at the Allen theater. He loved The Little Rascals, Doctor Who and Alfred Hitchcock movies. Growing up, he watched over his younger siblings. Nobody messed with the Week's family.

Rick was a friend to many and a compassionate son that took care of his mother when she was unable to. Rick and Mary Alice frequently reminisced of days past and shared laughter during those final months.
