Richard Wilmer Olson

Richard W. Olson age 72, passed away on January 18, 2018. Beloved husband of 36 years to Marie (née Contois). In addition to Marie he is survived by his children Jason C. Olson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Jennifer J. Olson of Morganton, NC and Christopher R. Olson of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Scott, Peyton, and Greyson of Wisconsin; brother Robert Olson (Patricia) of Weeki Wachee, Fl; sister in laws Marguerite Descovich of Indialantic, FL and Christine McCann (Kevin) of South Windsor, CT. Richard was born in Mankato, MN to Wilmer and Rosalia Olson. Richard retired after 22 years with Nestle USA in 2001. He was an avid duck hunter, loved gardening, and enjoyed long walks with his dogs. Memorial contributions may be made to In Motion the Parkinson’s Wellness Center of Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Private memorial service is planned for the spring.
