Ralph M. Beattie

Ralph Milton Beattie, beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Gruhler); son of the late Milton and Lucile Beattie; brother of Lucy Beattie; father of Rebecca Beattie Reed, Martha (Rich) Beattie Bistritz and Susan Beattie; uncle of Cynthia (Tim) Raftus McDowell, J.B. (Amie Oberndorf) Raftus and Amy (Chad) Gruhler Toenes; grandfather of Jennifer Bistritz, Stephanie (Israel) Bistritz Catz, Joseph Bistritz; Lindsay Reed and Mackenzie Reed; great-grandfather of Rosella Catz and Avia Catz, passed Saturday, January 3, 2015.  Born July 6, 1925.  His life speaks for itself.  There are no words.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31 at 1:30 p.m. at The United Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls, 20 South Franklin St., with calling hours beginning at noon and reception following at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions may be made to the Chagrin Falls United Methodist Church; Ohio Wesleyan University or a charity of your choice.  Arrangements by Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home.
