Peggy (Ratliff) Hladik

Peggy Hladik nee Ratliff passed away in the early hours of September 7th, 2023. She died at home surrounded by her family, just the way she wanted to. Peggy was born June 21st, 1940 in Rockingham County North Carolina and is Predeceased by John Ratliff (Father), Ida Bryant (Mother), David Hladik (Husband). Peggy had 11 siblings John Ratliff, Thelma Simpson, Frank Ratliff, Inez Cassell, Mack Ratliff, Otis Ratliff, Julia Yeatts, Archie Ratliff, Lewis Ratliff, Robert Ratliff and Raymond Ratliff. Peggy is survived by her loving children Rebecca O’Hamill, Laurie Bennett (Eldon) and Richard (Colleen Siedlecki). Grandchildren Benjamin O’Hamill, Allison O’Hamill, Daniel Barney (Emilee), Katherine Barney (Beau Denhalter), Nathan Barney (Kjersti), Reid and Ryan. Peggy proudly served in the U.S. Army where she met her husband, David. They married and were longtime residents of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Peggy worked tirelessly to ensure her children had a magical childhood and a quality education. Her drive and determination was an inspiration to anyone who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM Tuesday September 12, 2023 at The united Methodist Church of Chagrin Falls 20 South Franklin ST. Chagrin Falls, OH. The family will receive friends from 1:00 Pm until the time of service.
