Paul Michael Hissett, 58, of Port Orange, Florida passed away suddenly at home on March 17, 2020.
He graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1980. He worked several jobs prior to following his father into the plumbing profession, and was a past Brother of the Cleveland Plumbers Union #55 and a current Brother of the Daytona Beach Plumbers and Fitters Union #295. He was a member of the Chagrin Falls Fire Department as well as Lieutenant of the Rafter, TN Fire Department. He was an active member of AMVETS Post 911 of Port Orange, Florida. He dedicated many hours to volunteering as a member of the Chagrin Falls Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2436, the Chagrin Valley Jaycees, and various other community causes and events throughout the years.
Paul is survived by his life-partner Patricia Bricker-Balmat, children's mother Tammy Knechtl Love, daughter Heather (John) Broer, son Mathew (Amber) Hissett, daughter Lisa Carlini and grandchildren Lea, Emma, Gavin, Chloe, Orlando and Wyatt. Preceded in death by his mother Berny (nee Reminder)and survived by his father Elmer Hissett, his siblings El (Wes Cotton) Hissett-Morse, Shaun "Al" (Carol – deceased) Hissett, and John (Alan) Hissett, Mother and Father-In-Law Louise (Hupertz) and John Zeller, Sisters-In-Law Annie (Byron) George, Phyllis (Donnie) Wilson, Donna (Didier) Jantz and Lynn (Gus) Aldana, and Brother-In-Law Tom (Kyung Soon) Balmat, and countless family members and friends.

Services to be announced at a later date, and in lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to Ronald McDonald House (he would like that).
