Marjorie Lynne (Anderson) Miralia
February 7, 1933 – June 24, 2026 (93 years old)
Marjorie Lynne Miralia of Chagrin Falls passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026
Marjorie was born on February 7, 1933, in Montreal, Canada to Thomas and Ethel Anderson. Marjorie and her sister Alice grew up in the Chagrin Falls area, and she graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1951. Soon after her graduation she began her career at The Sherwin Williams Company as an Executive Secretary. Outside of her work, she enjoyed arts and crafts, making pottery, drawing sketches, bowling and roller skating. She met the love of her life (Charles Thomas Miralia – CFHS ’46) at the Chagrin Falls Roller Rink and they were married in 1956. Over the next 10 years they had 4 boys and Marge left Sherwin Williams to become a full-time home maker. She loved this role and supported everyone’s hobbies, sports and activities while continuing her love of arts and crafts. Family vacations were a highlight for our family. Road trips across the country every summer with Marge planning the sights, motels, meals and of course bumper sticker collecting! Marge and Chuck attended and served at St Martin’s Episcopal Church for over 70 years with each of their boys baptized and confirmed at the church. Marge loved her antique shopping trips with her husband. With each excursion they would seek Royal Doulton mugs or Orphan Annie items. Her collection reached over 110 mugs which she proudly displayed for all to see. She also loved her family dogs over the years, supporting the local dog shelters and adopting rescues. May you Rest in Peace Marjorie, you will be dearly missed.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Charles, son, Kenneth and sister Alice.
Surviving her are her son, Bill (Lisa Resetar) and his daughters Lauren (Weston) Muniak and Rachel Hartless; son, Gary (Barb Rentz) and his daughter Sandra Miralia and son Dylan; son Mark (Connie Bridges) and his daughters Annemarie (Garrett) Morrissey and Madeline Miralia; Ken’s daughter Amber (Matthew) Giambrone and son CJ. Marge also had seven great grandchildren.
