Lynne Halter (Halter) Monzel

Lynne Halter Monzel, 60, of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 peacefully at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland.  Born on August 27, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of David and the late Joan Halter. She enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, the beach and loved to home decorate.  Most of all, Lynne loved her children and enjoyed spending time with them. Lynne is survived by her former husband, Steve Monzel and a daughter, Derek E. Wagner and her husband William.  Lynne is also survived by three sisters, one brother, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Lynne is preceded in death by her son, Scott Steven Monzel, and son Edwin Monzel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lynne's honor to the Scott Monzel Memorial Fund in care of Walsh Jesuit High School 4550 Wyoga Lake Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44224. Viewing will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 342 S. Chillicothe Road, Aurora, Ohio 44202 on Friday April 6, 2018 from 10 AM until Noon.  Internment and a graveside service will be at Knollwood Cemetery 1678 SOM Center Road Mayfield Heights, Ohio 44124 immediately after the viewing.
