Lawrence R. Gleba Sr. age 74; loving husband of 43 years to Mary Kay (nee Byrne) passed away on Sept. 3, 2019. Loving father of Lawrence R. Jr (Charlotte), Kimberly Todaro (Michael), Dawn Florjancic, Catherine Caliri (Carmelo), Jennifer Speed (Ryan), Timothy (Teresa), and Patrick (Dina). Beloved Papa and Great Grandfather to so many. Don’t you dare call him Lawrence! Larry was a fierce protector. As an officer of the law, of his family and dear friends he considered family - he saw it as his duty to protect and serve.  He was the most sensitive tough guy you would ever meet. His grandchildren adored him, his children looked up to him and his wife cherished him. “Words are words” - Larry Gleba.  His family will receive friends in celebration and remembrance on 9/11/2019 from 4pm-8pm with his final salute at 7pm at Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home in Solon OH.
