Laura Stempian Brown, age 97. Beloved wife for 65 years to David Charles Brown (deceased 2013) Dearest mother of Marcia Brown, Virginia Yazbeck (Wajih), Cynthia Brown, and Arthur John Brown who died in infancy. Vherished grandmother of Zosia, Antonina, and David. Dearest sister of Stephen J. Stempian, M.D. (Caroline), Mary McAndrew (Frank), Barbara Kadunc (Albert), Ellen Zhun (Peter), and Jeannie Klopp (Ralph). Beloved daughter of John Stempien and Antonina Brozyna Stempien. Devoted aunt to 26 nieces, nephews and their children. Laura graduated as an RN from St. Vincent Charity Hospital School of Nursing. She met David shortly after WWII at “The Blessed Corner” while waiting for a bus that took them both to their work places.
