Korri Ann McCormick

     Korri Ann McCormick of Chagrin Falls, born January 13,1975, passed away suddenly on May 8, 2026. Korri was the devoted mother of Nicolas Baraga and the beloved daughter of Kerry Knauff and the late Richard McCormick. She is also survived by her significant other, Tony Raffaele; Nicolas’ father, Brian Baraga; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, along with her beloved Boston Terrier, Phoebe. In addition to her father, Korri was preceded in death by her grandparents, Garland and Yolanda French, and James and Thelma McCormick; her aunt, Kathy Knauff; her cousin, Joseph Knauff; and her beloved horse, Yaxley.

After graduating from Solon High School, Korri continued her education at the University of Toledo. Known for her vibrant personality and strong work ethic, she transformed her lifelong love of animals, especially horses, with Belgian Draft Horses holding a special place in her heart, into a fulfilling career. Korri devoted many years to her work at Equine Specialty Hospital, where her dedication and compassion left a lasting impact.

     Korri also had a deep love for food and was an incredibly talented chef. Her meatballs, stuffed artichokes, and Italian wedding soup were legendary among those fortunate enough to enjoy them. More recently, she turned her passion for cooking into a successful food truck business, sharing her gift with the wider community. In addition to her love of animals and cooking, Korri was a passionate Cleveland Indians fan. A true Cleveland sports enthusiast, she loved cheering on the Tribe with family and friends.

Above all, Korri will be remembered for her fierce loyalty, loving spirit, infectious laugh, and her remarkable ability to make people feel loved. She was an amazing mother, daughter, and friend whose kindness and warmth will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

     A Celebration of Life honoring Korri will take place on June 13 at 12:00 p.m. at the Federated Church, located at 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
