Obituary

Karen Lois Gebeau (nee Hopkins), 74, of Auburn Township, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. Karen is the beloved wife of Charles Gebeau for 42 years. Cherished mother of Amanda and Aimee Gebeau and dearest grandmother of Marissa and Carson Rivera-Gebeau and Austin Shavel. Loving daughter of the late Victor and Mary Hopkins, and sister of Jeffrey Hopkins of Willowick. Also survived by sister-in-law, Lynn Clark and many nieces and nephews.

 

Karen was born in Cleveland, OH on May 5, 1947. She graduated from Eastlake North High School. Anyone who knew her, or had seen her at her grandchildrens events, could see how very proud of them she was. She lived to see her family happy.

 

Receiving friends and family on December 20 at 10am at Holy Angels Church in Bainbridge. Mass to follow at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Karen’s name can be made to The American Heart Assosiation or your local animal shelter.
