Joann H. Randall, aged 57; born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, passed peacefully at home on January 4, 2022. Beloved wife of Gregory G. Randall, mother of Claire Jolley (Christian), Karl Randall and Abigail Randall. Grandmother of Daxton Jolley. Daughter of Antoinette Heffner and Jacob (deceased) Heffner. Sister of Douglas Heffner (Meredith), Robert Heffner (Natalie) and Michael Heffner (Diane). Sister in law of Kate Frank (Jay), David Randall (Tricia) and Tony Schlagbaum. Daughter in law of Anne Randall. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who loved her deeply. Joann graduated from the University of Michigan and later on pursued a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Kent State. She was a woman who took pride in her family and community of Lake Lucerne, where she lived for 30 years. Whether it was skiing, hiking, traveling or observing wildlife, Joann spent a lot of her time enjoying our earth, as well as taking care of it. She was a go-to person for an adventure, as well as a laugh. In her own words, “When my feet hit the floor, the fun begins.” She had a profound thirst for knowledge. She applied that knowledge through her progressive actions related to nutrition, environment, politics, and bettering mankind. Joann had an impact on many people through athletics, Lake Lucerne community, and the numerous organizations of which she was a part.
