Jo Ann (Potter) Lechman

Jo Ann Lechman (nee Potter) passed away on January 12, 2016.  Jo Ann was born on December 31, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to David Hill Potter and Lela Potter (nee Hurtt).  She is survived by her sister, Jennie Furnas (Rollin), of Brookville, and preceded by Lawrence Adam Lechman, father of her two children, Michelle Lechman of Asheville, NC and Lawrence “Adam” Lechman Jr. (Tina) of South Russell.  She was a loving grandmother to Ana and Jonathon (Michelle) and Katarina and Zach (Adam and Tina). Jo Ann earned a degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.  She served as the Finance Administrator for Gates Mills Village for 33 years before retiring in August 2015. Family will receive friends from 3-6 PM Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, 95 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022. The Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, 20 South Franklin St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.  Interment will be at the Gates Mills North Cemetery immediately following the Memorial Service.
