Jeanne L. (Lybarger) McGinnis

Jeanne (Sundstrom) McGinnis nee Lybarger  1920-2015.   A long time companion of Herb Lawyer;  she was a lifelong resident of Chagrin Falls. Jeanne  grew up spending summers at the family home in Lake Lucerne  and returned for the 4^th of July fireworks for many years including 2014.  She was preceded in death by parents  Dr Charles W. and Helen Lybarger  and brother Donel C Lybarger .  Jeanne is survived by daughters Trudy Murray-Bassett (Richard) of Jupiter, Florida; Bonnie Jerpbak-Hillger (Taren) of Concord; son Richard Charles Sundstrom  (Jackie Bruner) of Big Pine Key,  Florida.  Grandchildren  Scott Jerpbak (Laura), Christy Jerpbak Theis (Jesse) and Jacob English (Kimberly); Great Grandchildren Dana and Rachel Jerpbak all of Chagrin Falls. Step children Sandee McGinnis Slade of North Carolina and Tom McGinnis of Aurora.

She was a graduate of Shaker Heights High School and National Park College in Washington D. C. where she was involved in many reunion get-togethers.  She traveled the world extensively in the 60’s and 70’s.   Jeanne managed The Hillbrook Club; hosting and organizing events throughout the 70’s and 80’s and she proudly volunteered for over 25 years at the Cleveland Sight Center.

A celebration of life will be held at the Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home in Chagrin Falls in Late July, 2015 (exact date to be announced).  Further information will be available on the Stroud-Lawrence website
