James Frank Knechtl JR

Also know as Flap, 59, passed away unexpectedly June 17th, 2018. Born May 8th, 1959 in Cleveland, OH. He resided in Mantua, OH for most of his life. Flap, preceded in death by his loving wife Darby, mother (Linda) and father (Jim), is survived by his children Jason (Vanessa) Knechtl, Erik (Tamra) Knechtl, Kasi Knechtl (Rich Rose), and Keith Cale (Maryann Bertele). "PA" to Ryliegh, Alex, Logan, Madison, and Mollie. Beloved Brother to Tammy Knechtl-Love (John previously deceased) and Uncle to, Matt Hissett (Amber Casten), Heather Hissett (John Broer), and James Rabbitt. He attended Chagrin Falls Schools, and he worked as an Asphault Driver until his retirement in 2013. He loved spending time at the race track with his family, and he deeply loved his children, and grand children.
