Hugh (Tony) G. Russell, 81 years old, of Chagrin Falls, died peacefully on January 11, 2019. Born April 8, 1937, Burton, Ohio. Tony was the owner and project manager of Minglewood Builders. He was well known in Chagrin as the man who restored and remodeled the Valley Art Center. Also an avid hunter, fisherman, Indian Guide, Boy Scout Leader, and nature lover. He was gifted with a comedic personality, a tender heart, and was everybody's friend. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Suzanne (ne Goodrich); sons, Hugh Jeffrey and Scott; daughter Lynn; stepson Christopher Rood; and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Rescue Village, Novelty, Ohio. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
