George Dana Clemens, beloved husband of Patricia Lowe Clemens, passed away
At Hospice House in Cleveland in the early morning hours on Tuesday May 24th. George was 93. George grew up in Chagrin Falls Village with his 3 brothers: Pete and younger twin brothers Robert and Richard. He served our country proudly in the United States Coast Guard.
George was known for his love of the country and spent many years working his farm with dairy cattle, maple syrup, ect. George’s interest and love for children led him into becoming Superintendent of Metzenbaum Center from 1965-1987. He also found satisfaction working for an Amish birthing center and he worked on the board. George and Pat had 3 boys:
The late Steven, Mike and Tom; grandsons Carlton and Nick and the late George, as well as a daughter Judy Johnson of Georgia. Family will receive friends from 2-5PM on Saturday May 28th at Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home 95 South Franklin St. Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
