Frances Ann Slate a former resident of Chagrin Falls died peacefully at the age of 81 on December 26, 2016 with her family by her side in Twinsburg, Ohio. Mrs. Slate was born on January 23, 1935 to Phil and Goldie York. She was the Dear Mother of Connie (Manuel) Iacano, Joann (John) Nemeth, Mary (Chris) Kostura, and Kathy (Frank) Zugan, a grandmother of eight and a great grandmother of two. Frances was a wife, mother, avid reader and traveler. The family would like to thank Grande Village Retirement Community for caring for her in her final years and also to those who helped along the way, The Federated Church, Sprenger Hospice, family and friends. Much gratitude. At her request a Private service will be held. Donations can be sent to The Federated Church of Chagrin Falls or the National Parkinson’s Association.
