Doris (Peairs) Pulsford

Doris Peairs Pulsford passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday November 9, 2021. She was born on September 17, 1925, one of eight children in South Russell, Ohio to Alvin and Norma Peairs. She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck, parents Alvin and Norma, brothers Clinton, Richard, and Donald Peairs, sisters Wilma Trende, Leona Peairs, Ramona Adams, survived by Aloma Dynowsky of Solon, OH. Doris is survived by her children Jeff (Tori) Pulsford, Terri (Greg) Schaefer, Sherri (Butch) McGlothlin, and Lorri Petersen as well as 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Doris had many passions, her favorites were family, animals, and shopping. She is now with her beloved husband Chuck and favorite dog Bruiser. Doris graduated as Valedictorian from Auburn School at age 16 and then got on a Greyhound bus and headed to Ohio University in Athens Ohio. After graduating with a teaching degree, she taught school in the Solon School System, where she met her future husband, Chuck Pulsford. They spent 54 years building a home and family. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM with a service at 11 AM Saturday November 13, 2021, at Bainbridge Community United Church of Christ 17751 Chillicothe Rd. Bainbridge Twp. OH. 44023.
