Whaley, Dennis A., Garrettsville, OH, formerly of Bainbridge Twp., passed away at home on Oct. 15^Th, 2015. Beloved husband of Candy L. Whaley (nee Hall) for 37 years.  Loving father of Jessica (Abraham) Szoka. Proud grandfather of Isaac and Izabel Szoka.  He also leaves behind his siblings Donna (Mark) Doublin and Gale (Ellen) Whaley, parents Dwight & Christie Hall along with numerous Whaley, Hall and Bonifield family. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Doris Whaley, sister Linda and son Joshua R. Whaley. Dennis proudly volunteered services with the Bainbridge Volunteer Fire Dept., Chagrin Falls Fire Dept. and most recently the Geauga County Sheriff's Office logging over 8,000 volunteer hours.  He was a public employee for 38 years.Visitation will be held Thu. Oct. 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 at The Geauga County Fairground's School House. His memorial service will be held Fri. Oct. 23 at 10am at The Geauga County Fairground's Main Grandstand with graveside service following at Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Twp. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to William Dieterle, Santa’s Hideaway Hollow, Middlefield, OH or The Hospice of the Western Reserve.  Arrangements by Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home, Chagrin Falls, Oh.
