Delores Juanita (Penny) PENNY

Delores Juanita Penny passed away on Saturday November 28, 2020 at the age of 89. Delores, aka Penny, was born in Dayton Ohio. She was a long-time resident of Aurora Shores and later the Crossings in Aurora, Ohio. She spent the last 4 years of her life at the Hamlet in Chagrin Falls. Many will remember Penny as the office manager and assistant for Tanglewood Family Medicine for over 40 years. Penny’s was a life well lived. When she wasn’t gardening or traveling, she would be working with rescue dogs. Her love for Golden Retrievers was well known, but any 4-legged friend was her buddy.

             She was proceeded in death by her partner and best friend Patricia Ann O’Toole, her parents Olive and Randolph Penny and her sister Ruth Nash(Jack). Penny is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary O’Toole(Gary), Colleen O’Toole, Patty O’Toole, Katie O’Toole Smith(Tom), Jim Kistardt(Missy), John Kistardt(Kathleen), Ruth Dixon(Bill), Paul Nash(Nancy), Lynn Bete(Tim), John Nash(Ana), and Mark Nash(Ang).        

             The family would like to thank the Atrium at Hamlet for all their wonderful care. There will be no service or visitation because of the pandemic but a private family service will be held at Knollwood cemetery where she is to be interned.
