David R. Lavalette died on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Ivy (Blackhurst) Lavalette, and his brother Douglas. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn, their children John (Joni), Sarah, Peter (Tammy) and Eric (Jill), and grandchildren Kate, Daniel, Gus and Caroline. Visitation Friday April 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 6295 Chagrin River Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022, with services Saturday April 18 at 1 p.m., also at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, suggest donations to the Arthritis Foundation or St. Martin’s.
