Cheryl Portman (Portman) Erker

Cheryl A. Portman-Erker,

 Age 60 years young of Auburn Township. passed away unexpectedly

but peacefully on December 07, 2020.

Cheryl was born May 27, 1960 in Cleveland Oh.

 to parents Louis Portman (preceded her in death) and Wilhelmina Tinge.

Cheryl was the beloved and adored wife,

 of the late Arthur Erker (preceded her in death) for 20 years.

Cheryl is survived by her mother Wilhelmina Tinge, Brother Phillip Portman,

Sister Kimberly Portman-Mishne, Daughter Karen Waddell, 

Nephew Jared Portman and Nieces Mckenzie and Kendall Portman.

Growing up Cheryl was very active in Geauga County 4-H.

She rode High Point Western on Appaloosa’s and won many trophies and ribbons .

Cheryl attended Kenston schools most of her life, then graduated from Sarasota High School in Florida..

She worked for NES Debt Collection Agency for over 22 years. 

She won an award for Elite class collector.

Cheryl lived the majority of her life in Auburn Township 

with her loving  husband Arthur Erker.

They enjoyed cooking and baking together, camping, their dogs

 and mostly being with close friends and family.

Cheryl enjoyed growing exotic orchids and gardening.

Cheryl was loved by many, as they knew her as 

a loyal, kind, caring person and true friend.

Cheryl was a loving daughter and sister.

 She is and will be truly missed every day.

The family will have a private celebration of life 

and service with close friends and family at a later date.
