Bruce L. Lockemer

Bruce Lockemer, age 74, of Yorktown, VA passed away on February 20th, 2015. Bruce was born on January 23, 1941, and graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 1959. After graduating from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in business, he served in the U.S. Navy and is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a U.S. Postman for a few years, and later worked for Virginia Power at the North Anna and Yorktown Power Stations. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nellie Lockemer, and his brother, George “Vern” Lockemer. He is survived by his wife Veronica Lockemer; nephew Todd Lockemer and his wife Cindy, and their two children Lauren and Logan. No public services are planned. A private burial will take place in Ohio at a later date. Those wishing to express sympathy may donate to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
