After being discharged as a lieutenant he returned to BakerHostetler in 1971. Bruce was referred to as a pioneer in the application of licensing to the field of intellectual property and took great pride in having supervised the international protection and enforcement of BakerHostetler clients’ intellectual property rights in more than 60 countries. Bruce was admired for his skill and creativity in the practice of law. Bruce was a partner and senior partner of the firm for 33 years retiring in 2010. Bruce loved sailing, travel, skiing, his log home in Potomac, Montana and rooting for his hometown baseball teams, the Cardinals and the Indians.
