Beverley Ann (Covert) BARNETT

Beverley Ann Barnett, born November 16, 1933, went to heaven on October 1 2016 at age 82, surrounded by her family.  She was a beloved mother to Phyllis (Denis) Marino, Mark Barnett, Kerry (Karla) Barnett, Gregg (Denise) Barnett and Todd (Cathy) Barnett, sister to Thelma Cobb, as well as grandmother to 13 beautiful grandchildren.   She joins her husband, Guy Barnett, and her parents, Frank and Phyllis Covert, in heaven.  Bev was a devout Christian who lived her life in service to God, and her memory and example will live on in our hearts forever.

Her family will receive friends to celebrate Bev’s life at the Stroud-Lawrence Funeral Home in Chagrin Falls on Wednesday, October 5 from 6-8 pm.  The burial service will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 12:30 pm at Lewis Wint Funeral Home in Clarkston, Michigan. 

Instead of flowers, family asks that any memorial contributions should be directed to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
